Terms of Service

1. Service Description
Hermit analyzes exported ChatGPT conversations to generate portable AI profiles for use with Claude Projects, Gemini Gems, and other AI platforms. The service uses automated AI processing — no human reads your conversations.
2. Access
Access requires email authentication via magic link. You must provide a valid email address. One account per person.
3. Data Processing
By using the service, you consent to the automated processing of your ChatGPT export by the Anthropic API. Only excerpts of conversations are sent to the API, which applies a zero-retention policy. Your full file is deleted within ~10 minutes.
4. Intellectual Property
The AI profiles generated by Hermit are your property. You are free to use, modify, and distribute them as you wish. Hermit does not claim any rights over your generated profiles or original conversation content.
5. Limitations of Liability
Hermit is provided "as is". AI-generated profiles may contain inaccuracies. We are not responsible for how you use the generated profiles or for any consequences of their use with third-party AI services.
6. Refunds
If the service fails to generate your profiles due to a technical error, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact jk@tirith.life with your job ID.
7. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
